RBFCU Project Management Provides 'Neighborly Service'
LIVE OAK, Texas (Dec. 17, 2024) — Teams from our Project Management Office and Process Improvement went to the House of Neighborly Service charity organization with a goal to package more than 70 frozen turkeys for pickup and delivery.
The director of House of Neighborly Service was short of volunteers and staff needed to meet the community needs in a timely manner, so our project team quickly organized to distribute hot meals and other food items across three routes. Go Beyond? Yes!
The team also restocked and organized the pantry. The director saw that the work completed would have taken their food distribution team a week of focused effort to complete.
