RBFCU Partners with KSAT Community to Highlight Service Projects
LIVE OAK, Texas (Feb. 11, 2020) — Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union has joined with KSAT-TV in San Antonio as a partner in KSAT Community. This is a long-standing community-outreach program that brings a focus to service projects that benefit the San Antonio area.
“We’re proud of the work our employees do to support service projects that benefit the communities in each of RBFCU’s markets,” RBFCU Marketing Communications Manager Salvador Guerrero said. “This partnership with KSAT Community allows the service projects and nonprofit organizations we support to be in the spotlight. We’re glad that so many people can see the great work these groups are doing and join in by giving further support to their efforts.”
RBFCU joins University Health System and Energy Transfer in partnering with KSAT Community.
This partnership with KSAT will allow RBFCU’s involvement with our nonprofit initiatives to be highlighted, including our Financial Literacy Team’s work with youth and adult groups to encourage good money habits and our hands-on contributions and volunteering as a business partner with the community.
“We’re thrilled to have RBFCU joining us in our successful KSAT Community program,” KSAT-TV vice president and general manager Phil Lane said. “Our entire focus with KSAT Community is to serve the most people possible, as often as possible. We know RBFCU has a huge community presence and their goals align completely with ours to make a big impact in local communities.”
Included in the service projects that are highlighted and conducted by KSAT Community are student video public service announcements contests focusing on issues involving teens, the “Share the Shows” program that encourages the donation of new shoes to children through the San Antonio Police Department, a youth development and health initiative through the “Girls on the Run” nonprofit, and many more.
